Kenny and Cath became landlords at The George & Dragon in 2023, and have run it between themselves, their 3 children, and their team ever since! They offer it as a pub and restaurant, directly opposite The Red Lion.
They took on The Red Lion in 2024 after the opportunity came up! The offering is more of a sports pub with darts, pool etc, and both have a pub quiz every week!
Meet Kenny & Cath
We've been landlords for most of our working lives! Kenny started out in gardening on golf greens, but we became landlords at the Headless Woman in Duddon until 2014, followed by the Bulls Head in Clotton until 2023! It’s a way of life for us and we work hard for it.
We differ hugely in that Cath loves music, loves gigs, but that’s a nightmare for Kenny! Kenny is a season ticket holder for Manchester United, so he spends his free time at games or with our son who plays pool for England! We absolutely love travel, and cruises to all corners of the world have peppered our working years
