Independent business owners all share a common struggle to survive - we’re comrades.
Supporting independents means money isn’t funding a yacht or faceless corporation. It lets us pay for our children’s music lesson or school uniform.
We started this to give a low-cost way to advertise in a world where algorithms win and marketing is expensive
About us
John is a truck mechanic and motorbike enthusiast. He has a German Shepherd called Shelby, he loves a fry up and a good walk. He was born and raised in Delamere and knows Cheshire better than most!
Josh is a drummer and climber, with a menagerie of pets. He moved to Cheshire for University in 2009 and loved it so much he never left. He has owned a small business in Cheshire for over a decade.
One fateful Wednesday, we went out to several local cafe’s and pubs, talking to other local business owners to understand if there were ways to collaborate and support each other in a tough market.
What became immediately apparent is not only were there hundreds of others disenchanted with the costs of marketing and their inefficiency, but that each independent business had a wealth of ideas and knowledge that sparked a fountain of ideas in both of us.
