We believe in homemade food, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, alongside fresh produce picked straight from our very own garden. Our beautiful setting reflects what we’re about, with stunning grounds and peaceful walks right on our doorstep.
When you support the Bluebell Cafe, you’re also supporting Barrowmore Charity, helping to provide a home and community for adults during a vulnerable chapter of their lives.
As we’ve grown, so has our offering. We’ve introduced our own produce shop and are continuing to expand what we can provide for our local community, from private hire and events to new opportunities to bring people together.
Our vision is for the Bluebell Cafe to become more than just a cafe — a welcoming community hub, much like a village hall, where people can meet, eat, celebrate and feel at home.
Meet Lisa
I took the reins at The Bluebell in mid 2026, after it’s establishment in 2013. I grew up just down the road in Tarvin, and had spent 35 years in the corporate hospitality industry and wanted to exercise my knowledge and experience to grow the cafe into the next generation for the community. I work with my daughter and our team, and my hope is for her to take over from me in the future
Work has been a huge part of my life over the past few decades, and even now I struggle to find time! But when I do, food is still my big passion; I love the competitive food side of restaurants, I love to travel, and when I travel there’s always a food aspect to where I’m going!
